The job market is slowly coming around and while the openings are not nearly as numerous as a few years ago we're seeing a steady increase in available positions.

We are cautiously optimism for the job market for the remaining year and are starting to hear projections for staff increases in 2011.  it's a perfect time to update your resume, brush up your interviewing skills and get your career on track.  

We are seeing the market for temporary employees, or candidates willing to work temp to perm improve significantly.  If you are between jobs, a temp to perm situation gives you an opportunity to earn some income, prove yourself, and to get a feel for a new Firm before committing to permanent employment.  There is an emerging market for temporary employees at all levels and in every job catagory.

  •  Hours are: M-F 9:30 am - 5:30 pm (must be flexible and able to work beyond 5:30 pm as needed)

    Responsibilities include supporting the paralegal department (100+ staff), will provide senior level support to two paralegal managers (and head of human resources on an as needed basis.)  This person will be responsible for a variety of complex and confidential administrative duties including but not limited to inputting data and maintaining various databases, preparing and analyzing varied reports, processing departmental paperwork, coordinating paperwork & training for new hires and will interface with paralegals and varied departments on a regular basis.  Law Firm experience
    a plus.

     


  • Qualified candidates possess:
     
    ·         Exceptional attention to detail
    ·         Excellent organizational and time management skills
    ·         Ability to work with all levels of management and staff; and are highly versatile and adaptable
    ·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    ·         Strong analytical skills
    ·         Statistical/budgeting skills
    ·         Requires ability to work independently and as a team player
    ·         Associates degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
    ·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook)
    ·         Typing 50+wpm
    ·         Prior administrative experience in a professional services firm preferred
