GENERAL SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide marketing managers and other members of the Marketing Department
with assistance in research, mailing list and material distribution, events, data compilation assistance, including
directories, and a wide variety of marketing activities supporting practice group and Firm-wide marketing projects.
PERSONAL CONTACTS:
The Marketing Assistant must be able to interact at all levels of the Firm. Most of the day-to-day interaction will be
with the Marketing Department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Conduct company, client, industry, and other research to assist managers with business development efforts.
· Conduct competitor research.
· Assist Client Events Manager with in-house seminars, conferences, and other events; assist with logistics,
invitations, materials, and hospitality; assist with follow-up communications.
· Assist Project Manager with gathering information for completion of surveys and directory listings.
· Assist with the use and maintenance of the Firm’s CRM database, Interaction.
· Provide editorial support when needed.
· Complete other assignments and projects as needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
· Solid computer skills with good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications, such as Word and Excel.
· Detail-oriented and organized.
· Ability to prioritize and coordinate own work.
· Good interpersonal skills.
· Good oral and written communication skills.
· Polite, professional, positive manner.
· Good grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality.
· Knowledge of the Firm’s policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· College degree in marketing, business, or communications.
